Type of wine: Reserva Red
Production: Affected by a significant drought, the 2012 vintage offered a grape with excellent health status and an excellent balance between alcohol content and polyphenols. This allowed the production of high-quality wines, with a successful polyphenolic structure, especially suitable for aging in oak and for storage. The wine obtained was fermented in 70-hl oak vats for 8-10 days, before being transferred to 225-l barrels -70% French oak and 30% American oak- in which it underwent malolactic fermentation and rested for 18 months.
